About the role
Branch Location: 41 Lebovic Boulevard, Toronto
As a Retail Banker, you are the Brand Ambassador for HSBC Bank Canada and deliver an exceptional customer experience by identifying and meeting all customer needs at the first point of contact.
You will work customer-focused at the branch, increase revenue by meeting and exceeding customer needs and maximize opportunities in all customer segments.

Your responsibilities
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of HSBC products and services; Express these to your customer in an engaging and confident way.
- By effectively questioning and listening to your customers, you gain a full understanding of the financial circumstances and needs of both new and existing customers
- Proactively refer Branch Specialist, PM and Asset colleagues to ensure the best possible advice is provided to the client
- Help customers understand how they can flexibly use HSBC services through Internet Banking, telephone Banking and self-service points to meet their changing needs
- Be proactive in building and building a customer base using Customer Contact Lists, referrals, and inbound
Requirements
- Passion for consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Consistently deliver personalized, friendly and efficient service every time
- Effective communication skills that will enable you to build strong professional relationships
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of the client’s needs through effective information gathering
- Ability to protect the bank by having difficult conversations with your customers on topics such as Anti-Money Laundering, sanctions, complaints handling and estate planning
- May work 30 hours per week and support branch hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
