Hello Stratford and surrounding areas. AO Smith Stratford location is seeking a hard-working employee to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis as a Public Service Worker in Education – Grade 4. In this position, the employee will work the afternoon straight shift, Monday through Monday. Thursday from 15:30 to 02:00 (4 x 10 hour shifts). The employee will learn several advanced processes involved in the production of our water pump tank products. Responsibilities include:

· Must be willing to learn and perform some of our more advanced required operations related to the fourth (4) job class such as our powder coating booth, Hydraulic deep drawing press and/or automatic welding cells.
· Provide assistance, rework, and assist with bottlenecked work areas as needed
· Perform tasks safely and efficiently
· Train, train and support your employees to perform tasks safely and efficiently
· Must be self-motivated to ensure efficient operation of the facility
· Promoting and carrying out cleaning work
·Complying with company rules and procedures
· Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
· Must be willing to work periodic overtime shifts

Abilities:

· Experienced in a production environment
·Knowledge/experience of the following processes: powder coating booth, hydraulic deep drawing press and/or weld cells are an asset
· People with experience in using hydraulic deep drawing press or similar large machines are preferred
·Forklift License is an asset
·WHMIS and other Advanced Health and Safety training is valuable
