GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Interior Finisher installs doors, trim, baseboard, trim, drywall (including mud, tape, and paint), and other necessary interior finishes, as well as repairs damaged items, such as cracked drywall. They place all the ingredients neatly. To be successful in this role, they must have the skills to use power tools such as saws and nailers and be able to stand safely on ladders and scaffolding for long hours. They also know how to use materials (e.g. drywall, vinyl) for different covering styles and tasks.

We are looking for an organized and hard-working individual to join our team as an Interior Finishing Specialist.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Install doors, trim, baseboards, trim and drywall (including mud, tape and paint) using a variety of materials and tools
· Deliver projects on time
· Inspect for damages
· Repair or replace broken items
· Ensure that all interior finishes meet the company’s quality standards
· Use hand tools and other equipment (e.g. scaffolding, ladders)
· Follow safety rules

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE JOB
Experience:
· Experience with flooring and drywall or experience in a similar role in construction
KEY COMPETENCIES
· Excellent carpentry skills
· Experience in using various hand-powered tools and equipment such as scaffolding, taking into account safety rules.
· Ability to work safely at heights for long hours
· Ability to work as a team member

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Physical strength and good balance
