Air Canada is currently seeking Cabin Service and Housekeeping Attendants to join our ground handling team. A big part of this role is ensuring the aircraft is safe and ready for takeoff on time. Business type: full time
Plus shift bonus:
Evening shifts (18:00 to 23:00) – $0.50 per hour
Night shifts (11pm to 6pm) – $1.00 per hour
What does your daily life look like
As a Cabin Service and Cleaning Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring that our aircraft are ready on time. Moreover:
- Equip the airplane cabin with cabin service supplies for the flight
- Clean and inspect aircraft interiors
- Vacuum floors, clean surfaces and replace headrests
- Fill seat pockets with magazines and safety information

Qualifications
Required skills and experience
This is a task of great responsibility. Therefore, we have a set of key criteria to guarantee your success:
- Possibility of working in shifts
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work within strict timelines
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- A valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid transportation security permits and additional permits. Please see the Transport Canada site for further details.
Conditions of Employment
- Eligible to work in Canada. If you have a work permit, this permit must be valid for at least 12 months.
- Eligible candidates must be eligible to work in Canada, have a valid driver’s licence, and be able to attend full-time education (attendance is required).
- Employees in this role perform safety-critical work and therefore Air Canada medical standards must be met to qualify for this role. Candidates are expected to undergo a medical evaluation, including drug and alcohol testing, and be free of any intoxicating substances.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the relevant country when any job offer is made and it is the responsibility of candidates applying for this position to obtain any necessary work permits/visas or other permits that may be required.
