Wage:
$25.00/hour starting wage during probation (720 hours), with gradual hourly increases based on Collective Bargaining Agreement (For example, $25.50/hour after probation, $26.75 after completing 2040 hours /hour)
Shifts:
- Full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- We offer a variety of shifts selected through a Collective Bargaining job offer process
- Agreement (Employees are offered a weekly schedule until a fixed shift is available through the job offer process (published by noon on Fridays)
Job Duties:
- Operating warehouse machines (Ride-boy Walkie, Reach Truck and Balancing)
- Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.
- Meet physical job demands as outlined in ergonomic training
- To follow the quality standards specified in the Food Quality training program
- Ensure appropriate rotation of date code requirements
- Safety first approach to all tasks, including reporting damaged machinery and equipment
- Working with company-provided personal protective equipment and refrigerated equipment in a temperature-controlled environment
- Track and report stock losses
- Move goods that can weigh between 40 and 50 pounds
- Paid training for all job duties and requirements
Qualifications
- Ability to operate a radio or forklift is an advantage
- Ability to communicate in basic English
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
