Job description:

Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting and stocking packages. Can operate heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Business Type: Part Time – Permanent
Working Location: 12424 Dixie Road Caledon ON
Business days: Sunday to Thursday
Shift Start: 12:00-17:00. There is an average of 3-5 hours of shifts per day. Start times/end times may vary based on operational needs. Flexibility is required.
Payout rate: Pay rate is $17.80/hour. ($15.55/hour base wage + $2.25 hourly bonus).

Responsibilities:

• Learns UPS package handling methods and applies them correctly.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages onto trailers or package cars.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kg.
• Ability to read and memorize zip codes.
• Possibility to work flexible shift hours up to 5 days a week.
• Warehouse experience – Preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay rate is $17.80/hour. ($15.55/hour base wage + $2.25 hourly bonus).
• Automatic pay rate progression under current Union Collective Agreement (highest rate: $26.79 per hour after 48 months).
