This is an 11-month contract position working remotely, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (PST) or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (EST).
Internal application must be made by March 7, 2023 at the latest.

Add Value to the following task:
- Assist in locating clients’ medical office for reporting purposes
- Assisting in collecting medical records for insurance purposes
- Ensure orders include all items the facility needs to allow for a complete report to be produced in a timely manner
- Great attention to detail in follow-up conversations (be sure to gather detailed information about the delay in completing the report)
- Contact clinics by phone and/or fax to inquire about the status of insurance reports
- Capture all call and facility information for every contact and payment to generate reports
- Following SOPs to ensure compliance with various insurance companies and medical facilities
- Maintain the quality of calls while reaching the daily processed call quota
- Other duties assigned by Manager/Team Leader
Add Value with Your Qualifications
- High School Degree/diploma (or relevant experience) preferred
- Bilingual language (French and English) is mandatory for Quebec, an asset for the rest of Canada
- Minimum 1 year work experience (contact center experience is an asset but not required – any will be looked at)
- experience from other industries such as retail and hospitality)
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
- Customer-oriented approach: Friendly, positive attitude, strong communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment with competing deadlines.
- Be skilled and proficient in using different search engines to find contact information for medical facilities and/or doctors.
- Ability to quickly document status notes into the in-house system
- Great attention to detail and innovative thinker (thinking outside the box for solutions)
