- Drivers A company vehicle and a paid company smartphone are provided.During commercial use, all expenses including insurance, maintenance and fuel are covered. The vehicles are late model sedans, minivans and wheelchair accessible vans. Smartphones and vehicles remain in the driver’s possession for the duration of the work.

Position Details
- Drivers typically work Monday through Friday, up to 11 hours a day and a maximum of 14 hours a day. A typical week may be up to 40 hours ($620.00/week), with a maximum of 60 hours ($930.00/week).
- Weekend trips may be available on a volunteer basis for additional hours. The driver should drive comfortably in the hours after dusk.
- Focus on providing safe, calm and reliable transportation using a combination of customer service, communication and defensive driving skills.
- We assist our passengers with all their needs, including carrying luggage, getting in and out of the vehicle, assistance with seat belts and other needs.
- Communicate with our Shipping Department in real time and navigate our company systems on a daily basis.
Position Qualifications
- Have ten (10) years of driving experience with a valid G Driver’s License. Be able to provide a summary of a driver in good standing and a letter of experience from the current insurance company.
- Ability to present generally good physical health and a medical note to support this. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required by a passenger.
- Preferably a non-smoker as it carries people in sensitive sectors with medical conditions that are affected by odors.
- We can easily wear a protective mask against infectious disease outbreaks and work with disinfecting products.
- Able to provide an up-to-date police check, including sensitive sector investigation, upon joining the company and when requested.
- Have a valid CPR Certificate. The company will pay to renew CPR Certifications during active employment.
- Ability to drive for long periods of time depending on the desired trip.
- You can navigate comfortably on an android smartphone. Ability to operate and track the GPS system.
- Have a strong knowledge of your regional geographic area and the metropolitan Greater Toronto Area.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Be customer service focused.
- Ability to determine whether a passenger has physical limitations and requires additional support and provide such assistance during pickup.
- Have a dedicated place to safely store the company-provided vehicle when not on active duty.
